Reading your invoice

Each billing month, your office is charged twice: once for your plan, and once for the checks you ran that month. On a monthly plan both charges happen on the same day. On a yearly plan, the plan is charged once a year and the checks are still charged every month. Every payment is listed under Invoices on Settings › Plan & billing, each with a Receipt link.

The two charges

1. Your plan. Listed as "Plan ·" and your plan's name. The same amount every month (or once a year, if you pay yearly). This is your software fee, and it doesn't change based on how many checks you ran. If you move up a plan, the gap you pay that day is listed on its own as "Upgrade ·" and the new plan's name.
2. Your checks. Listed as "Checks". A separate charge for every check we billed that month: every found check, plus any not-found check that had a required box left blank, priced on the price ladder. A not-found check with every required box filled in costs nothing and isn't on this charge.

Your monthly statement

Once both charges go through, we email you one statement. It shows the plan charge, the checks charge, how many checks you ran and how many we found, and the ladder math: how many checks landed in each price step, and the checks total.

Checks this month, at a glance

On Settings › Plan & billing, Checks month by month tracks this month's checks day by day toward your limit, with how many you have left. Next charges shows your next plan charge and your checks bill so far. Past periods lists each earlier month's checks bill, plan charge and total.

No processing fees

No processing fees. Sales tax is added where a state requires it, shown as its own line when it applies.
