When a payment does not go through
Checks stop until your card is fixed. Update it yourself in Settings, no phone call needed.

If your plan charge or your checks charge doesn't go through, checks stop running until it's fixed. Nothing else about your account changes, and there's no fee for this.
Fixing it
- Open Settings › Plan & billing.
- Click Update card.
- Enter a working card. We try the charge again right away.
Checks start working again as soon as the charge succeeds.
Why a card gets declined
The most common reasons are an expired card, insufficient funds, or a bank declining an unfamiliar charge. If you're not sure why, your bank can usually tell you faster than we can.
