Starting with Insurance Verification only
Your first week on a plan: pick a plan, set up your practice, and run your first check.
Updated Sep 23, 2026
If you signed up for Insurance Verification on its own, your account is deliberately smaller than the full product. There is no phone line to set up and no Amy answering calls. This is the short version of your first week.
Step 1: pick a plan
Signup asks about how many checks your office runs a month and highlights the plan sized to that. You can pick Monthly or Yearly (20% off), and you can change plans any time later from Settings › Plan & billing. See How plans work.
Step 2: set up your practice
- Your practice details. Your NPI number looks you up in the national registry, so your legal name and address fill in automatically.
- Your carriers. Pick the insurance carriers your office works with, or drop in a spreadsheet and we match them for you.
- Your services and codes. Your own procedure codes and prices, picked by hand or from a file. These make a patient estimate real money instead of a guess.
Step 3: run your first check
Add a patient, type what's on their insurance card, and click Verify now. You get an answer in seconds: active or not, what's covered, and what's left this year.
Step 4: do a whole day at once
Once you're comfortable with one check, Bulk upload runs a whole day's schedule in one pass. Any row missing a required box is flagged red before it runs, so you can fix it first.
Tip
No automated checks run by themselves in this product: your office clicks every check. Amy only acts on a fix request your office sends. See How plans work for what a check costs.
