Past checks: a patient's verification history
Every check you run is kept on the patient. Open Verification history to see who ran each one and what the plan had left that day, and open any old report exactly as the carrier answered.
Updated Sep 28, 2026
A new check never erases an old one. Every check on a patient is kept, so you can see what changed: a deductible that got met, an annual max that ran down, or a plan that ended.
Find a patient's past checks
- On the Verification page, click the patient's row to open it.
- Click View the full benefits report (on a card that needs a fix, View full benefits breakdown).
- Scroll to the bottom, to Verification history.
Each row is one check:
- Ran: the date and time.
- By: who ran it (their login email), or Bulk list when it came from a bulk upload.
- Rules that day: what the plan had left that day, like "Annual max $1,000 left · deductible met", or why it did not pass.
- Result: for example verified, failed or inactive.
Open an old report
Click Open report on any row. The page shows that day's check, with a banner at the top: "Viewing the report from" that date, who ran it, and "Benefits are shown exactly as the carrier answered that day."
To go back, click Back to today's report.
Tip
A plan's "remaining" numbers change as claims are paid. Before a big treatment, run a fresh check with Re-verify instead of quoting an old report.
Frequently asked questions
Does a re-check replace the last answer? The newest check is what the patient's row and result show. The older one stays in Verification history.
Can I change anything on an old report? No. An old report is a record of that day, so you can't add or remove procedures on it. Price new work on today's report.
